Matteo Darmian insists that he is happy at Manchester United and has no intention of leaving Old Trafford.
Darmian continues to be linked with a return to Italy after struggling for a friendly with United, but the former Torino defender is expected to spend the third season at Old Trafford.
"I'm happy here, I think that's part of our job, this kind of rumor, as I said before, I'm happy here," Darmian said.
"I am a Manchester United player, that's all," he added.
Darmian also claims he has no choice but to play on the left-hand side of the defense.
"I always say the position does not matter to me if I have to play left or right," added the 27-year-old.
He claimed to always work hard to be ready when the manager gave him a chance to play.
"I try to do my best every time, every game, I try to work hard for a week and that's my philosophy," he said.
