Liverpool rejected Barcelona's £ 72m bid for a Philippe Coutinho.
The Catalans are known to have long admired Coutinho and wanted to take him to Camp Nou.
Liverpool have not wanted to talk further about clubs interested in Coutinho including Barcelona.
Coutinho will be the key to Liverpool's ambition to compete for the Premier League title this season.
The 25-year-old has signed a new deal last season that forced him to stay at Anfield until 2022.
