Juventus mainstay mainstay defender Alex Sandro confirmed that his team mate Cristiano Ronaldo had now departed from the red card he got in the midweek Valencia contra match.
In the first match of the Champions League group stage, Ronaldo was shown a red card after he was deemed to be committing a less commendable act against Jeison Murillo.
Without Ronaldo since the 29th minute, Juventus themselves still managed to bring home full points after Miralem Pjanic's two goals from the penalty spot made the Bianconeri silence the hosts.
Sandro's belief
Ronaldo was devastated by the red card until he was seen crying before leaving the field. But according to Sandro, the former Real Madrid player had forgotten the incident.
"I see him motivated. He has a lot of experience and he knows what happened on Wednesday is the past," Alex Sandro told Sky Sport Italia.
"He has looked forward again, he came to help and bring the quality of his game to the team," continued the Brazilian international.
Promise Assist
Furthermore, Sandro also emphasized that he and Ronaldo had increasingly understood each other on the field. Sandro also promised to immediately provide assists for CR7.
"We increasingly understand each other, I learned to know him on and off the field," added Alex Sandro.
"I understand the movement and what kind of ball he wants. Slowly I will start giving assists for him," he said.
